Rheinmetall Denel Munition is offering an opportunity for graduates to join its Procurement Internship Programme. This program aims to provide exposure to procurement processes and supply chain management in a manufacturing environment. Interns will gain hands-on experience and develop valuable skills in procurement operations.

Responsibilities

• Timely processing of RFQs, Capex, ECPs, concessions, deviations, and supply of procurement information
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and gain expertise in procurement processes
• Conduct price negotiations and achieve cost-saving targets for production and non-production materials and services
• Complete cost analyses and adjudication summaries
• Conduct supplier risk assessments and due diligence checks on new vendors
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• BCom / BTech / Advanced Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Logistics
• Valid driver's license with driving experience
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills in English
• Broad supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment (advantageous)
• Experience with SAP ERP system (advantageous)
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Good problem-solving, analytical, planning, and organizational skills
• Proven ability to take responsibility and demonstrate high levels of integrity
